My name is Arie Intveld. I'm located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and I have been exploring the boundaries of expressive image-making for over four decades. Ever since my father handed me my first scaled-focused Adox 35mm camera, I continually strive to capture depth of feeling and the shear wonder of our world in my images. I owe much gratitude to Freeman Patterson and Ernst Haas, whose inspiring photography seminars enabled me to really “see” and to see with my heart. It is my sincere hope that you enjoy the images in my galleries and that for you, the viewer, they evoke the same feelings or moods that I experienced when these images were created.
